SAI-U FM APPROVED SERIES SAFETY CABINET
SAI-U® Safety Storage Cabinets series include FM Standard Safety Cabinets, Drum Storage Cabinets, Personal Preparedness Emergency Cabinets and Gas Cylinder Storage Cabinets. Storing hazardous goods with right type of safety and storage cabinet can effectively prevent industrial fires. All the SAI-U® safety and storage cabinets are made of 1.0mm or 1.2mm high quality galvanized steel sheet and painted with epoxy polyester powder, which not only gives a firm structure to the products, but also provides a very strong corrosion resistance.


SAI-U® FM standard safety cabinet has obtained both FM certification in the United States and CE certification in the European Union, meeting the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106 and NFPA CODE 30 specifications, as well as the Hazardous Chemical Safety Management Regulations of the China National Administration of Work Safety. According to the US FM standard, after rigorous testing, after burning for 10 minutes, all connections inside the safety cabinet remain tightly connected, the cabinet door remains tightly closed, and the internal temperature remains below 162,7 ºC.

Door Type
SAl-U® FM Standard Safety Cabinets offer two options of door type to meet different needs: Manual-closing and Self-closing. In Europe, United States and Australia, safety cabinets are always equipped with self-closing device, forcing the cabinet to stay closed when not in use, thus to eliminate fire risks before happening.


 

SAl-U self-closing device:

SAl-U Self-Closing Device is independently developed by our company, and has already applied for national patent. By the test, this device showed an extremely high stability, which could bear more than 100,000 opening and closing. Every SAl-U FM Standard Safety Cabinet can be equipped with this self- closing device to improve safety level.







 

Specifically, this self-closing device features a fusible link.

During use, this link can keep the cabinet door open if necessary; while fire occurs and the ambient temperature of the cabinet reaches to 74 ºC,the fuse will melt and then the cabinet door will automatically shut off So, the exterminate flame is isolated and the second combustion is avoided.
